WYE Motor Lodge Duncansville - Altoona Rooms

A great stay at the Wye Motor Lodge. This is a nostalgic well kept property which has parking directly in front of your room. It is well lit inside and out, my room was very clean with a microwave and refrigerator, and the staff were friendly. My stay was during a three week period of a foot and a half of snow when the temperature never got out of the mid teens during the day and hovered near zero at night and my room was toasty warm the entire time - hot water was also instant and plentiful!! This property is one of the best lodging values you'll find in Altoona.

The price for the room was appropriate for the room we had. The size of the room was comfortable with what we needed for our stay. There was no breakfast, but I knew that when I booked the motel and that was not a negative for us. The motel was easy to locate when we got to Duncansville. There was a grocery store nearby as well as Walmart & Target.

Breakfast was not included but for $80. a night we could afford to buy our own. Room was clean and spacious.

No breakfast at this location. Went less than a mile to a breakfast buffet. Excellent meal! All was good at the Wye Motel!

This is our halfway point coming from Ontario Canada to Virginia and this hotel is a gem! We have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times now and our experience is always good! The rooms are always clean and cozy, the property is always clean with a wonderful view of the mountains, check in is easy and friendly and this will always be our go-to place to stay! We highly recommend!

Budget friendly

The location to where we wanted to go, it was quiet which we really appreciated, the room was spacious and clean (even tho everything is old looking), it was easy to get to, it would have been a worse experience if we spent more time in the room than we did, we just needed a place to sleep and get ready.
